Being a Mom AND a Heritage Makers Consultant

Hello friends, family, consultants and clients!

I am excited to start blogging about specials, ideas, helpful hints and success stories related to my Heritage Makers business. I'll also throw in a few giveaways and have some fun contests too! It is my hope that I can reduce the size of my monthly client newsletter by adding info more periodically and timely right here! So, please take advantage of it and follow this blog!

One of my favorite things about being a direct sales consultant is the freedom to work from home. Well, there are a few downsides such as: while I am closing a sale, or helping someone with their book, a client of mine may hear "Mom, can you help me button my pants," or "Can you turn on Dora?" But I have to say, I really have the best of both worlds. I get to help others capture their heritage, while I am with my little ones, making my heritage!

How do I balance my direct sales business with my beautiful family? I think making sure I make TIME for the most important things first, and then scheduling out my heritage maker's events is the key. I really do try to compartmentalize my time, so I am fair to my family, and I can work smart during my business hours! I love that I own my own time, and therefore I own my own life! What an amazing thing to have the chance to be a stay at home Mom, and make great money in an industry that is this rewarding and growing so quickly.

I think for those, like me, who had never pursued direct sales as a business before, I would say, "Do it!". It really is the most amazing thing to build a business that grows each month and allows you the freedom to be who you want to be, in your career and more importantly, at home.
